As you all know, WassupNATL are trendsetters! We step out on a limb each year during pride and take huge risk to bring you an amazing weekend. Last year’s line up included Lil Kim, Kelly Rowland, Fantasia, Shanell, D. Woods, Dondria, and tons of dancers from across the country.

We even spent double the money in fees just to bring Lil Kim to Vita last year after a mishap with a former booking manager that was pretending to still book for her. But we made it happen! And made it an affordable night for all still.

This year we set out to bring a remarkable artist and icon to Atlanta Black Pride, the Queen of Hip Hop Soul Mary J Blige and we were looking very forward to a night with the Queen. But there are times as a promoter, difficult decisions have to be made and we had to make a decision based on tickets sales and many of your concerns on what the cover cost would be for the event to cancel the Mary J Blige performance. It’s a part of the business.

Wassup N ATL has been taking our customer’s to some of the biggest concerts to hit Atlanta over the past 3 years including Kanye West & Rihanna, Jay-Z & Mary J Blige, Birthday Bash (suite style), we even included the Britney Spear’s Circus tour at Philips Arena as a part of our Atlanta Black Pride passes in ‘09. We’ve treated our customer’s to limo service, paid for bottle service, fed them 5-star restaurant meals all because that’s what we do and we understand that not all of our customers’ are fortunate to have what we have.

We apologize to the Mary J Blige fans and pride attendees that were so excited to see her as we were. For the true Mary J Blige fans, you are welcome to email us at wassupnatl2@aol.com and we will be happy to send you to the next Mary concert in Atlanta as a token of our appreciation.

In lieu of the Mary performance cancellation, WE WILL still be at Park Tavern this Sunday, September 4th and WE WILL party like no other with our girl and your favorite and the realest VH1 Celebrity Basketball wife Tami Roman as she will host the party all night with the men of Wassup N ATL.

We listened to our customers and their concerns on Pride club cost and welcome you all to Park Tavern to enjoy the company of sexy men who love sexy men, the hottest dancers, DJs, & emcees in the country, and drinks that will have you right for the night, all at an affordable price ($10 all nite).

You’ve been GOING IN with Tami each and every Monday night on VH1 as she get’s the girls together, now meet her up close and personal for her very first Pride appearance ever. She’s excited to see her fans and can't wait to pop her Budweiser bottles with the fellas!!!
