Beads + Bordeaux
Beads + Bordeaux is a night for friends! It's a fancy name for a fun, open craft night. Bring a project you're working on, or start a new one! Come in, bring your girlfriends, and meet some new friends. This is not a structured class, however an instructor will be available to help you out and answer any questions. We provide tools and wine glasses; we provide a bottle of wine but if there is a type of wine that you just love, you're welcome to bring it. Cost: $5
the first Wednesday of every month
These sweet bird's nests are so adorable and fashioned completely out of wire. We'll show you how to add little beads for eggs. Learn how to finish your nest into a whimsical ring or pendant, adding charms or flowers for an extra special touch. Cost: $20
Kody is our expert wire wrapper and teaches this free form wire wrapping class. Work with wire to cage a stone, creating an artistic pendant. Bring in a special found object, like sea glass, round agate, or a shell - or pick a new piece to showcase! This is a great way to practice wire working and learn how to work with beads that may not have a hole. Cost: $20

These snazzy bracelets are made by coiling wire and adding lots of fun beads. We'll work on coiling wire, creating wire beads, and wrapping wire around itself to make this great bracelets. It's a great class for the young and not as young to start working with wire.

Foundations - introduction to jewelry making
Learn the essentials to get started making your own beautiful beaded creations. Our wonderful instructors will show you how to work with tools and use basic beading supplies. During class, you will finish a necklace and a pair of earrings, and you'll gain the confidence to become a jewelry artist! We have pre-packaged kits (Vintage necklace and Crazy Daisy kits are pictured) to help make shopping easy or any of our team will be happy to help you pick something else out. Cost: $20

Me & My classes are the perfect kid-friendly (8+) classes for you and yours to learn something fun together. In the foundations class, learn how to string your own necklaces and make drop earrings. In the mixed media pendants class, learn how to re-purpose wooden game tiles and soda pop lids to make fun pendants, we'll also make pendants with glass tiles. These classes are not limited to moms and daughters: grandmas, sisters, aunts, and mentors of all kinds are welcome.

In this fun class, we'll show you how to make three different types of pendants - scrabble tile, glass tile, and soda pop. We'll work with glaze, resin, and epoxy. Supplies are included to make 6 pendants in this class (2 scrabble tiles, 2 soda pop caps, 2 glass tiles). Cost: $25

Prong set pendant
This is a classic look at caging a stone. You'll work with wire to design a bezel and beautiful prongs, creating a wonderful pendant. We'll add a smaller stone at the top and do a quick herringbone weave. This is a great way to learn how to design consistently sized prongs and tightly coil wire. Prerequisites: must be able to tightly coil wire. This class is approximately 3 hours long. Cost: $30

Reno leather wrap bracelet
A little bit country and little bit rock and roll, these leather wrapped bracelets are beautiful, fun, and can be made to go with any outfit. We use leather, thread, and a bunch of beads to make these bracelets; we'll add a button for a clasp and yeehaw! into the sunset you go! Cost: $20
This isn't your grandmother's knitting (unless your grandmother was a Viking, I guess). Come explore the beautiful Viking Knit, a wire-weaving technique used for centuries. In this class, you will learn how to weave thin wire into a unique bracelet. We'll weave, we'll knit, we'll make ends and add embellishments! The cost of the class includes the Lazee Daizee hex rod and two drawplates for you to keep. This class lasts approximately 4 hours. Cost: $60
We love this glittering cuff! Named for the twinkling Denver skyline, this cuff has dozens of beaded wire rungs that run top to bottom. You'll learn how to use heavy gauge wire to shape the cuff and fill in the design with a variety of small beads and wire wraps. While not an intermediate class, we do recommend that you have some wire working experience under your belt. This class lasts approximately 3 hours. Cost: $30

Wire wrapped stone bracelet
This project is so easy and fun to do. This festive bracelet is a great way to start and practice wire wrapping. Create beaded links with streamlined wire coils capping the top and swirling down to the other end. This is a great way to highlight individual beads with metallic detail, while getting a feel for working with wire. In this class, beads must have a hole. Cost: $20

Colorado Bead Co. class policies
▪ You must cancel 72 hours prior to your class to receive a refund, gift card, or transfer to another class. If you cancel your class within 72 hours of its start time, you can receive the handout or send someone in your place.
▪ Class fees are due at the time of registration.
▪ Supplies are not included in the class cost, unless specifically noted. Please buy all necessary supplies before class. For the best selection, we strongly suggest you shop early.
▪ Please arrive for class on time and prepared with your supplies.
▪ All students are assumed to have any prerequisite skills listed within the class description.
▪ Classes are for adults (16+) unless noted. Some exceptions can be made depending on the circumstances, so please call.
▪ If The Colorado Bead Co. cancels a class, you will receive a full refund or a transfer to another class.
