  • Mondays: Open from 12 pm to 10:30 pm. Pathfinder at 5 pm. Pokémon Modified Constructed Tournament at 6:30 pm for $1. World of Warcraft TCG and Magic the Gathering (MTG) booster drafts for $12 after 5 pm.

  • Tuesdays: Open from 12 pm to 10:30 pm. Pathfinder at 5 pm. Free learn to Play MTG demonstrations from 3 pm to 5 pm. Innistrad Block Constructed League at 6:30pm for $2. Free Magic: The Gathering (MTG) Casual Constructed 4 or 8- Person Single Elimination Tournament after 5 pm.

  • Wednesday: Open from 12 pm to 10:30 pm. FREE Dungeons and Dragons 4.0 Lair Assault (Forge of the Dawn Titan) at 6 pm. $12 8-Person Single Elimination MTG Booster Draft at 5 pm. We draft at least 4 times throughout the evening! World of Warcraft TCG casual play after 5 pm.

  • Thursday: Open from 12 pm to 10:30 pm. Magic: The Gathering Sanctioned Standard Constructed Tournament for $5 at 6:30 pm. $1 World of Warcraft Constructed 4 or 8-Person Single Elimination Tournament after 5 pm. $12 8-Person Single Elimination MTG Booster Draft at 5 pm.

  • Friday: Open from 12 pm to 2 am. Free learn to Play MTG demonstrations from 3 pm to 5 pm. Friday Night Magic (FNM) Swiss Booster Draft at 3:30 pm for $15. FNM Standard Constructed Tournament at 7:30 pm for $9. FNM Promos are available to those who place top 4 in either event (December is Savage Lands). $12 Single Elimination MTG Booster Draft at midnight.

  • Saturday: Open from 12 pm to 11 pm. $12 8-Person Single Elimination MTG Booster Draft at 1 pm. We host several MTG drafts on Saturdays. Yu-Gi-Oh $1 Casual Constructed 4 or 8-Person Single Elimination Tournament at 2 pm. MTG Free 4 or 8-Person Single Elimination Casual Constructed Tournament at 6:30 pm. Board Games at 7 pm. MTG Modern Constructed for $5 at 6:30 pm

  • Sunday: Open from 12 pm to 8 pm. FREE Pokémon League from 12 to 6 pm. MTG Commander $1 4-Person Multi-Player Sanctioned Pods begin at 1 pm. Yu-Gi-Oh Competitive Advanced Constructed Tournament at 2 pm for $5. Pokémon booster draft at 3 pm for $15. . Innistrad Block Constructed League at 3:00pm for $2.

Jacksonville’s Gaming Event Calendar

Saturday, December 31st, Grand Prix Trial for GP Orlando at JCS. The format is MTG Standard Constructed. Entry is $20 and the event begins at 1 pm.

Sunday, January 1st, Yu-Gi-Oh Advanced Constructed 10 Boxes of Yu-Gi-Oh Product guaranteed as prizes. $30. Registration begins at 12 pm and closes at 2pm. Advanced registration now available for $25. Save $5 and register today!

Saturday, January 7th, Pokémon City Championships at JCS at 11:30 am. Free Modified Constructed Competitive Tournament.

Saturday, January 8th Grand Prix Trial for GP Baltimore at JCS. $20 1pm x3 PWP Multiplier. The format is MTG standard constructed.

Saturday and Sunday, January 14th and 15th Grand Prix Orlando. Jax Card Singles will be closed for these two days.

Saturday, January 21st, Star City Games Invitation Qualifier at JCS. The format will be MTG standard constructed.

Sunday, January 22nd, Grand Prix Trial for GP Lincoln at JCS. Modern Constructed. $20 entry and it starts at 1 PM.

Saturday and Sunday, January 28th and 29th, Dark Ascension Prerelease at JCS. There will be four main events; a midnight sealed event on Friday night, a 1 pm sealed event on Saturday, a 2 Headed Giant Sealed event Saturday night at 7 pm and another sealed event on Sunday at 1 pm. Advanced registration for the first two events are now online. Hurry! Discounts on the midnight event ends soon.

Sunday, February 12th, Grand Prix Trial for GP Seattle. Dark Ascension Sealed. $25 Entry. Starts at 1 pm at JCS.

2/17-19 MegaCon in Orlando

2/25/12 Dark Ascension Game Day at JCS at 1 pm. Entry is $10. The format is MTG standard constructed.

2/26/12 GPT Indianapolis at JCS. The format is modern constructed. The entry is $20 and the event begins at 1 pm.

Qualify to compete at one of the upcoming Grand Prixs. All entrants to a GP gets a promo Goblin Guide.

JCS NEEDS BASIC LANDS! Sell them all to us at 1 cent a piece! No amount is too small! Sell us that old shoe box full of basic lands in the back of your closet! We need it!

Want to score more Planeswalker Points (PWP)? Well come to JCS where we have sanctioned events seven days a week! Whether it’s limited, constructed, casual, multiplayer, you name it, we run it! We miss our Commander players! So we have brought back our Commander League! $1 entry and no-infinite loop combos allowed! PWPs awarded for Commander play at JCS on Sundays!

January’s Saturday night alternate format magic event at 6:30 pm is Modern Constructed Tournaments for $5.

The Innistrad League continues on Sundays at 3 pm and Tuesdays at 6:30 pm. The Innistrad League is run as Innistrad Block Constructed Tournaments. The entrance is $2 each. If we get 6 or more players we will run the event as a Swiss pairings tournament. One-half a booster pack is entered into the prize pool per player. Points from the tournament are directly entered into the League tracking chart. There will be a finals block tournament during the Dark Ascension prerelease weekend. Read all about the League here.

We understand that our patrons love to draft MTG. So we are rolling out $12 single elimination booster drafts every day! That’s right if there are enough people in the shop; we’ll run a single elimination sanctioned booster draft! Also look for non-sanctioned 2 on 2 booster drafts real soon!

Our Pokémon Sanctioned Modified Constructed Tournaments on Mondays at 6:30 pm has now been changed to a $1 entrance fee! That’s right! Play Pokémon for only $1. Additional prizes can be awarded if everyone can agree to a higher entrance fee. We also have our Pokémon League at JCS on Sundays from 12 to 6 pm. We now have the promos for the Pansage season! JCS also has Pokémon booster drafts on the schedule for Sundays at 3 pm for $15.

Pokémon City Championships at JCS is scheduled for Saturday, January 7th. Doors open at 10:30 am and the event begins at 11:30 am sharp! There is no entrance fee and prizes will be awarded!

JCS’ next mega-Yu-Gi-Oh tournament is Sunday, January 1st at 2 pm. 10 boxes of Photon Shockwave will be distributed among the top 8 players of this tournament guaranteed! Advanced registration is now online. Advance register now and save $5 until Christmas day! We’ll open up at 11:30 am for early play testing. Late registration ends at 2 pm. We also host a casual, single-elimination $1 tournament on Saturdays at 2 pm and a $5 advanced competitive constructed tournament on Sundays at 2 pm.
