While in some places, the entire country shuts down for Easter ("påsk"), you are in luck, Sweden is not one of these countries! So if you are not travelling home, or travelling this weekend, check out some events going on in Stockholm this week and next.

Urban Green Areas - A Symbios Member weekend!

April 14-15

Are you interested in Urban Green Spaces? The Environment? Meeting new and like-minded people?! Join us for an unforgettable, informative and fun weekend where we will discuss biodiversity, social impacts, urban planning, environmental action on campus and go for a guided nature walk! This weekend is funded by the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation and we will have guest speakers from the Swedish National Institute of Public Health, the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation, SU Environmental Department, the Department of Human Geography at SU and Platagon. Volunteer - Soup Kitchen for homeless in Stockholm!

To create a debate about the situation for the homeless people in Stockholm some students are organizing a soup kitchen and are looking for caring international students to help out!

They need help the day before with cooking food and at the actual day with spreading love and hand out food!

We start the evening at 20:00 with a FREE salsa class, with professional salsa dancers as teachers. No experience is required!
