What an amazing and beautiful journey the first six months of 2010 has been. I am humbled and inspired by all that has been revealed. I am grateful for your will to help create a new world of expansive and innovative art with me. There is much more to come. I thank you and look forward to the future with dedication and passion.

The Gratitude Project

The Gratitude Project on February 12 and 13, was a beautiful success. Maria Bauman and I helped create an experience that transcended everything we imagined. Both evenings were sold out. Many people were unable to find the words to express the intense vulnerability of what was felt. In performance, we were silenced to tears at the love that resonated beyond the walls of the Wow Café Theatre.

Thank you to Nia Love, the Wow Café Theatre Collective, the brilliant artists, friends, family and all who dedicated their time and energy towards making the Gratitude Project a wonderful success.

Many of you asked if the Gratitude Project would be presented again. We are in the process of creating other opportunities. If you know of any venues or contacts that may be interested in presenting the project, please let me know. As Maria and I continue to present and develop the works that were created, we will keep you posted to the many ways that the Gratitude experience continues to manifest.

Nicholas Leichter Dance

There are so many exciting things ahead this summer with my dance company Nicholas Leichter Dance. Thank you to all who attended the preview of THE WHIZ at Joe’s Pub in March. It was incredible! You danced with us, sang out loud and roared to your feet in excitement. The full premiere is finally here! Do not miss THE WHIZ: OBAMALAND, at Abrons Arts Center, June 16-19.

On July 30, we will be performing, THE WHIZ: Over the Rainbow, featuring Nona Hendryx @ Lincoln Center Out of Doors. Its FREE!

Dancer Dawn Choreographer

I am exploding with enthusiasm to share the happenings in the world of Dancer Dawn Choreographer. Prior to the Gratitude Project and thereafter, I have been diligently seeking opportunities to create new work and expand upon what began in a flood of abundance. I have been collaborating with a brilliant group of dancers and musicians. I feel incredibly inspired by the magic being produced. I am elated to announce I will be presenting work for the first time in the Dumbo Dance Festival @ the White Wave John Ryan Theater, September 24-26 and RAW Material @ Dance New Amsterdam October 7-8. It would be an honor to see you there.
