Mondays

12 pm to 10:30 pm. Pathfinder at 5 pm. Pokémon Modified Constructed Tournament at 6:30 pm for $1. World of Warcraft TCG and Magic the Gathering booster drafts for $12 after 5 pm.

Tuesdays

12 pm to 10:30 pm. Pathfinder at 5 pm. Free learn to Play MTG demonstrations from 3 pm to 5 pm. Innistrad Limited League all day. Free Magic: The Gathering (MTG) Casual Constructed 4 or 8- Person Single Elimination Tournament after 5 pm.

Wednesday

12 pm to 10:30 pm. FREE Dungeons and Dragons 4.0 Lair Assault (Forge of the Dawn Titan) at 6 pm. $12 8-Person Single Elimination MTG Booster Draft at 5 pm. We draft at least 4 times throughout the evening! World of Warcraft TCG casual play after 5 pm.

Thursday

12 pm to 10:30 pm. Magic: The Gathering Sanctioned Standard Constructed Tournament for $5 at 6:30 pm. One booster pack per player goes into the prize pool with select promos awarded to top 4. $1 World of Warcraft Constructed 4 or 8-Person Single Elimination Tournament after 5 pm. Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 edition at 5 pm.

Friday

12 pm to 2 am. Free learn to Play MTG demonstrations from 3 pm to 5 pm. Friday Night Magic (FNM) Swiss Booster Draft at 3:30 pm for $15. FNM Standard Constructed Tournament at 7:30 pm for $9. FNM Promos are available to those who place top 4 in either event (October is Contagion Clasp). $12 Single Elimination MTG Booster Draft at midnight.

Saturday

12 pm to 11 pm. $12 8-Person Single Elimination MTG Booster Draft at 1 pm. We host several MTG drafts on Saturdays. Yu-Gi-Oh $1 Casual Constructed 4 or 8-Person Single Elimination Tournament at 2 pm. MTG Free 4 or 8-Person Single Elimination Casual Constructed Tournament at 6:30 pm. Board Games at 7 pm.

Sunday

12 pm to 8 pm. FREE Pokémon League from 12 to 6 pm. MTG Commander $1 4-Person Multi-Player Sanctioned Pods begin at 1 pm. Yu-Gi-Oh Competitive Advanced Constructed Tournament at 2 pm for $5. Pokémon booster draft at 3 pm for $15. Innistrad Limited League all day.

Saturday, October 29th, SCG IQ Atlanta, GA

Sunday, October 30th, Innistrad Game Day at JCS at 1pm. Entry is $10 and the format is MTG standard constructed. Promos awarded to every entry as well as Top 8. Come dressed in costume and receive $1 off tournament entry.

Saturday, November 5th, Jax Card Singles hosts the ongoing $1,000 Cash MTG Standard Constructed Competitive Tournament at 1 pm. $25 entry. Pre-registration is now available on our website.

11/5 QT Dark Ascension, Honolulu 2012, Montgomery, AL

Saturday, November 12th, Jax Card Singles host its first Star City Games Invitation Qualifier at 1 pm. The format is MTG standard constructed. The entry fee will be $25 and this will be a competitive tournament with a x3 Planeswalker Point multiplier!

Sunday, November 13th, Innistrad League Finals at 1 pm. Top 8 present players with the most League points gets free entry into this tournament. League prizes and arena points will also be awarded on this day. The Innistrad League ends on this day.

Saturday, November 19th, Win-A-Box of Innistrad Booster Packs Standard Constructed Tournament at Jax Card Singles. The entry is $15 and the event starts at 1pm. The event will be run as a Swiss pairings tournament. First place receives one box of Innistrad. Top 8 also receives select WPN promos. Additional prizes awarded based on player attendance. World of Warcraft Win-A-Box Constructed Tournament for $15 at 3 pm. First place wins a box of WoW booster packs. Additional prizes based on player attendance.

11/19 Grand Prix Trial for GP Austin (MTG) at Fusion Games, Port St. Lucie

Sunday, November 20th, Yu-Gi-Oh Advanced Constructed Tournament at Jax Card Singles. Top 8 wins 5 boxes of Yu-Gi-Oh product! Entry fee is $25 and the event begins at 1 pm.

Thursday, November 24th, Jax Card Singles will be CLOSED for Thanksgiving.

Saturday, November 26th, Jax Card Singles celebrates its one year birthday! Join us as we watch the FSU vs. UF game! We will be serving free hot dogs and hamburgers! We will host a free Standard Constructed MTG tournament at 1 pm with prizes in promos. We will also be having a sale! 10% off all in store purchases and 15% off online purchases made on this day! We’ll also be giving away free movie tickets! So come help us celebrate!

12/9 – 12/11 MTG Star City Games $5K Open in Charlotte, AL

12/24-25 JCS will be closed for Christmas.

Want to score more Planeswalker Points (PWP)? Well come to JCS where we have sanctioned events seven days a week! Whether it’s limited, constructed, casual, multiplayer, you name it, we run it! We miss our Commander players! So we have brought back our Commander League! $1 entry and no-infinite loop combos allowed! PWPs awarded for Commander play at JCS on Sundays!

October’s Tuesday/Saturday night alternate format magic events at 6:30 pm are FREE Casual Constructed Single Elimination Tournaments. This is NOT the tournament to play your competitive deck in! Home brews are encouraged! Play with any cards (Vintage, Legacy, Modern, etc.). Random promos awarded at the conclusion of the tournament based on player attendance. PWPs also awarded!

The Innistrad League continues on Sundays and Tuesdays. The Innistrad League begun as a pack war/limited competition using Innistrad booster packs that expands over six weeks into a sealed/limited format casual play event. Read all about the League here.

On Sunday, November 13th at 1 pm, we will hold the Innistrad League Finals. Remember that Arena Points gets you free promos, access to an exclusive win-a-box tournament, and other prizes to come!

Pathfinder meets every Monday and Tuesday and are looking for more players. If you are interested in more information, check out our forums here.

Our Pokémon Sanctioned Modified Constructed Tournaments on Mondays at 6:30 pm has now been changed to a $1 entrance fee! That’s right! Play Pokémon for only $1. The prize pool is reduced to one pack per four players. Limited pins and promos will also be distributed as prizes. Additional prizes can be awarded if everyone can agree to a higher entrance fee.

We also have our Pokémon League at JCS on Sundays from 12 to 6 pm. We now have the promos for the Pansage season! JCS also has Pokémon booster drafts on the schedule for Sundays at 3 pm for $15. We also have the Pokémon City Championships at JCS on the schedule for Saturday, January 7th.

We have two to three small groups that have been playing Dungeons and Dragons. 3.5 edition is being played at our shop on Thursdays. On Wednesday nights, we hold the D&D 4.0 edition Lair Assault. Remember D&D is free to play in and we are looking for players and Dungeon Masters to join us on Wednesday nights. Read more about our D&D program on our forums.

We also have WoW TCG sanctioning for our tournaments! $12 WoW booster drafts occur on Mondays after 5pm. We are also now hosting $1 World of Warcraft Constructed 4 or 8-Person Single Elimination Tournament after 5 pm on Thursdays and open, casual play occurs up at the shop Wednesday evenings.

JCS had a great turnout for its last Top 8 wins 5 boxes of Yu-Gi-Oh tournament! So we are going to do it all again on Sunday, November 20th at 1 pm. Registration closes at 12:45 pm so don't be late!

We host a casual, single-elimination $1 tournament on Saturdays at 2 pm and a $5 advanced competitive constructed tournament on Sundays at 2 pm.
