Thursday: 12 pm to 10:30 pm. Magic: The Gathering Sanctioned Standard Constructed Tournament for $5 at 6:30 pm. One booster pack per player goes into the prize pool with select promos awarded to top 4 (Cultivate).

Friday: 12 pm to 2 am. Learn to Play MTG demonstrations from 3 pm to 5 pm. Friday Night Magic (FNM) Swiss Booster Draft at 3:30 pm for $13. FNM Standard Constructed Tournament at 7:30 pm for $9. FNM Promos are available to those who place top 4 in either event (September is Teetering Peeks). $12 Single Elimination MTG Booster Draft at midnight.
Saturday: 12 pm to 11 pm. $12 8-Person Single Elimination MTG Booster Draft at 1 pm. We host several MTG drafts on Saturdays. Yu-Gi-Oh $1 Casual Constructed Single Elimination Tournament at 2 pm. MTG Modern Constructed Casual Tournament at 6:30 pm for $5 (8 proxies are allowed). Video Game Tournaments after 6 pm.

Sunday: 12 pm to 8 pm. FREE Pokémon League from 12 to 6 pm. MTG Commander Casual Multi-Player Sanctioned Play for FREE at 1 pm. Yu-Gi-Oh Competitive Advanced Constructed Tournament at 2 pm for $5. Pokémon booster draft at 3 pm for $15. Innistrad Limited League at 6:30 pm beginning October 2nd.

Saturday, September 17th, Yu-Gi-Oh Regionals in Fort Lauderdale and Alabama

Friday, September 23rd, Friday Night Magic Standard Constructed Tournament at 7:30 pm will be four-45 minute rounds only with pay outs based on standings after the fourth round in order to make player space available for the midnight prerelease!

Saturday, September 24th, Innistrad Prerelease! Sealed Events occur at 12 am and 1 pm. $25 Entry. Only main events will have Innistrad booster packs. All side booster drafts will be using Magic 2012 booster packs. Modern Constructed Casual Tournament at 6:30 pm for $5 (8 proxies permitted). First place receives a $10 movie gift card. A Grand Swiss Innistrad Booster Draft will occur at 7 pm for $15. We will have the prerelease promos on a first come first serve basis.

Sunday, September 25th, the Innistrad Prerelease continues with a Two-Headed Giant MTG Sealed Tournament from $40 per team of two at 1pm. Each team receives eight Innistrad booster packs with which to construct two-forty card minimum decks with. Teams compete against other teams of two. Prizes in Innistrad booster packs. Tournament subject to product availability.

Saturday, October 1st, Innistrad Release Event at Jax Card Singles. Sealed Event with $25 Entry at 1pm. Release promos will be provided. Side booster drafts for $15 will occur with Innistrad packs after 2 pm. A Grand Swiss Innistrad Booster Draft will occur at 7 pm for $15. We will have the release promos on a first come first serve basis.

Sunday, October 2nd, Innistrad Limited League begins. Entry is $4. The League lasts for 6 weeks and ends in a finals tournament. Earn prizes and promos by playing in the Sunday and Tuesday Leagues. It begins as pack wars and you add 1 booster pack each week to your limited deck after completing matches with 5 opponents.

Sunday, November 13th, Innistrad League Finals at 1 pm. Top 8 present players with the most League points gets free entry into this tournament. League prizes and arena points also awarded on this day.

Want to score more Planeswalker Points? Well come to JCS where we have sanctioned events seven days a week! Whether it’s limited, constructed, casual, multiplayer, you name it, we run it! Some come on down and sling some spells with us!

September’s Tuesday/Saturday night alternate format magic events at 6:30 pm are Modern Constructed Tournaments for $5. We can run the event either as casual (proxies allowed) or competitive. Select promos will also be awarded for the top 4 players (currently Cultivate).

Wizards has changed their policy for prereleases. Booster packs from the new set will now only be available in our main events. So we have added another main event to our prerelease weekend! Friday night, September 23rd we will hold a short, 4 round standard constructed tournament. This will permit us to hold registration at 11:30 am for our Midnight Innistrad Sealed Prerelease Tournament. That’s right! At 12:01 am on Saturday, September 24th we will hold a sealed event! The first 48 players will receive a prerelease promo. We will hold a second sealed event that day at 1pm for $25 and an Innistrad booster draft for $15 at 7 pm. Finally, we will hold a 2 Headed Giant Sealed Tournament on Sunday, September 25th at 1pm for $40 per two person team. All side drafts will be with Magic 2012 packs only.

Coming in October, the Innistrad League begins Sunday, October 2nd, 2011 at 1pm. The Innistrad League will begin as a pack war/limited competition using Innistrad booster packs that expands over six weeks into a sealed/limited format casual play event. The kick-off event will occur on both Sunday, October 2nd at 1pm and Tuesday, October 4th at 6:30 pm. Innistrad League play will continue every Sunday and Tuesday thereafter until Sunday, October 13th. It begins as a pack war competition for week 1. In week 1 you purchase 1 booster pack (sorry no discounts on packs for the Innistrad League) and add 3 of each basic land type to the pack (we provide the basic land but ask if you can please return them once you are done). You then play your matches against up to five other opponents per week for 6 weeks. You may play any of those five matches on either Sundays or Tuesdays. You receive 1 point for playing in the match and 2 points for winning a best of three game match. You may play the same opponent again, but you receive no additional League points from that opponent until you play them again in the following League week. Read all about the League here.
