It's February...the month of LOVE!
Ready for your assignment? Tell that special someone -- your partner, your friend, your parent, your sibling, your pet, yourself -- that you love them. Not just on Valentine's Day, but every day. Opening your heart and expressing yourself is a crucial part of connecting with others. It might produce feelings of vulnerability at times, but that's a part of being true to yourself and sharing your authenticity with others.

I will miss many things about working at my full-time gig, but the air conditioning is not one of them. This pic was taken in my office, aka "The Tundra" :)
I am thrilled to announce that I have decided to leave my full-time corporate job so I can spend more time pursuing my passion of supporting others in their quest to achieve and maintain optimum health thru gradual changes in lifestyle and nutrition. I gave my notice a few weeks ago and my last day is in just less than a month!
Parting from the two longest relationships I've ever been in (5 1/2 years with the company, 4 1/2 years working with my manager) is bittersweet. I met inspiring people, developed wonderful life-long friendships, got introduced to the world of half marathons and triathlons, and was fortunate to work in a healthy work environment.
It's been a great ride, but I'm ready for a change and am super excited to embark on the next leg of my life journey and to see how it unfolds as I allow my heart to lead the way. This is an exciting time and I couldn't be happier! I look forward to sharing with you a new and improved website, updated services and a whole lot more in the coming year.
The day after my last day at my current job, I'll be heading up to Long Beach, CA to attend the Integrative Nutrition Mega Conference! I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am to be there, surrounded by like-minded people and an abundance of positive energy and love, not to mention some inspiring speakers. My life would be so different if I didn't attend the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I am forever grateful that I went down that path, not only because of the education I received, but because of the people I met, the confidence it gave me, and the way it shifted my own lifestyle behaviors for the better.
