We hope this Newsletter finds everyone healthy, happy and ready for SOME SUMMER SUNSHINE at the BEACH!

The Beacon House had a nice spring season.

We joyously congratulated honeymoon couples, guests celebrating their anniversaries, birthdays, baby-mooners and a few couples who became engaged while strolling along the beach. The nice young couple from Indiana that eloped to get married on the beach this spring was a treat.
We look forward to greeting many more this season.

Fun Fact!

Before moving here I did not know that Venus Flytraps are native only within 60 to 75 miles of Wilmington. Several interesting carnivorous plants thrive by trapping and digesting insects. To see these wonders of nature walk the trails right here on the island at the Carolina Beach State Park. Among these carnivorous plants are Pitcher plants, Bladderworts, Sundews, Butterworts, but the most familiar—and the most spectacular—is the Venus Flytrap.
